What is MealCab's policy on restaurant menu prices?

MealCab.com makes every effort to contract with restaurants in order to offer the same menu prices that you would pay if you were to eat in their establishment. With that being said, there are certain restaurants that we are contracted with at lower rates and offer their food due to high demand. These restaurants are marked with a * next to their name and menu prices can vary from 10%to 20% depending on the agreement. Non Contracted Restaurants are OLIVE GARDEN, LEE ROY SELMON'S, CHILI'S & RUBY TUESDAY and these restaurants prices do incur a surcharge of 25%. 

Where do we deliver?

MealCab.com delivers Tampa's favorite restaurants to South Tampa in Hyde Park, Downtown Davis and Harbour Islands, Palma Ceia, Westshore, as well as in North Tampa to New Tampa, Temple Terrace, Lutz, Wesley Chapel, Southeast Land O' Lakes area and portions of Zephyrhills. How long does delivery take?

We usually deliver your order within an hour. Our delivery time varies dependant on weather, traffic conditions and/or size of your order. If you need a delivery for a specific meeting or event be advised to call in your order in advance to ensure delivery time.

What are your business hours?

Corporate catering and call center representatives are available to assist you:

Monday - Thursday: Lunch 11 AM - 2 PM, Dinner 4:30 PM - 10 PM

Friday: 11 AM - 11 PM

Saturday: 3 PM - 11 PM

Sunday: 3 PM - 10 PM

What is the cost of the service?

There is a $3.99 delivery fee for online orders, and a $4.99 delivery fee for phone in orders. Hotel Room Service delivery is $5.99.

Additionally, there is a 3% administrative fee applied to all orders. This fee covers a broad spectrum of administrative work it takes to route & fax orders to our mobile waiters and partner restaurants.

When ordering online if you either select a wrong zone and/or the restaurant to your house within the correct zone is over 10 miles we reserve the right to change the delivery charge from $3.99 to $5.99 without notification to compensate for drivers gas and mileage.

Is there a minimum to order?

There is a minimum of $15.00 (before taxes and fees) for delivery.

Should I tip the drivers?

Gratuities are greatly appreciated as the delivery fee is not part of a driver's compensation. Our mobile waiters do work off of tips. Any food orders of $75.00 or more will include an additional 15% gratuity. Typically, mobile waiters receive a 12 -15% gratuity for their services. Please inform us if you would like to leave a different TIP amount.

Can I place an order for a later date?

Yes, plan ahead for a meeting, special event or a night out without the kids. Our sophisticated phone or online ordering system allows you to effectively schedule your delivery by letting you choose an advance date and time. You may order days or even weeks in advance and we will ensure that you food order will arrive exactly when you requested. It is recommended that a minimum 24-hour notice is given on large group orders.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, corporate checks and/or cash. We also offer house account payment options for corporate customers.

How do I get my receipt?

Receipts are emailed or faxed for your convenience. Our orders are either called in or faxed to our partner restaurant. Dependent on our arrangement not all orders may include a hard copy receipt. You may contact customer service at any time after your delivery for an additional copy.
